Props to My Husband

A couple of weeks ago (sorry honey for not posting this sooner) Dan, his Mom, his Dad, and Sister all decided to hike to the top of Mount Timpanogos. Something that I have no desire to do, but I'm happy that Dan was able to accomplish one of his goals for the summer. They left at five in the morning and started their long hike up the mountain. Here's a scenic picture and one of his Mom, Dad, and Sister.
This picture is of his Mom laughing hysterically because she thought they were at the top of the mountain and they come around the bend and wait, there was still more to climb to get to the very top. They were all very exhausted and delirious at this point.

Well they made it to the top and here are some awesome pictures of the valley, then of his Mom climbing the steepest and scariest part of the whole hike, notice the smile on her face. Then there is the one of Emerald Lake that I think is pretty cool.

and after all that they made it to the top. Still all with smiles on their faces.
So now begins the decent down, here is Dan's Dad holding the mountain up, or maybe the mountain is holding him up.

OK, so this was Dan's favorite part of the whole hike, the mountain goats. It's the first thing he came home and told me all about. This is only one of about the 10 pictures he took of the mountain goats. Notice the baby goat, he loved it.

And here's more scenic pictures of the hike. It's so pretty and I think that some day I would love to do it, but right now I love that I have the excuse that I'm pregnant and I can't do a hike like that right now. Maybe next year. Now I'm worried that they'll hold me to it.

Good job Dan to you AND your family! That's quite a hike. Paul and I tried it and got about 100 yds before we collapsed.
