Alright, this is where it begins. I didn't really want to put this picture on there because this is by far my least favorite picture of me. This picture was taken while we were on our way out to the hospital after dropping
Kaden off at my parents. By the look on my face I'm
probably trying really hard to smile
during a very painful contraction. But Dan and I procrastinated and didn't take a good pregnant picture of me until the last minute, so this is the one that we have to deal with for the rest of our lives.

This one was taken just before Lincoln was born and by the look on my face here, you know I'm happy just
chilling with an epidural. Those things are amazing and for all you women who do it completely natural, I have no idea how you do it, but good for you, I will never be one of those women.

When I was 37 weeks the doctor was doing his check up on me and estimated Lincoln to be around 7 pounds. He didn't think he was going to be that big. Even
during labor right before he was born the doctor was still predicting the same thing, just over 7 lbs. Well he came out and much to our surprise, he was not 7 lbs, more closer to 9, 8lbs 11oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I think the doctor was a little embarrassed that he was so off.

We were very surprised when he came out with all that dark hair. It's so cute and we love it.

Here's the proud Dad...

...and I'm the proud Mom.

I love the feet, if you can tell, notice how long his toes are. His hands are the same way, big with very long fingers.

Dan calls this his
disgruntled old man look
Kaden is such a good big brother. He's so in love with Lincoln. It's so cute. He's very protective of him.

Those are my boys
Kaden just wants to be around Lincoln all the time.

Dan took this one because he loved the football feet, that's supposed to be the main focus of this picture.

Well, this is our little guy. He is the perfect addition to our family and we couldn't be more in love with him. He's such a joy.

SH-lest!! Hi! I have been checking your blog and waiting for pictures of your new baby! He is SO cute! And it looks like Kaden is adjusting well to being a big brother. And I loved the pregnancy photo of you - you look great! Especially if you were contracting at the time!
I had to laugh at your story about baby Lincoln's size. The same thing happened when I had Logan - my Dr. was sure he was not over 7 pounds...until I tried to deliver him and he got "stuck" - lovely, I know. But it was not until then, that she said "Oh, I think this is going to be a big baby" and big he was!
I am so happy for you and your little family! God bless!
Congratulations! Lincoln is so adorable! We will have to come by and see him soon. I hope you are feeling well. For me the worst part of having Morgan was the few days afterwards!
Oh he is so cute! I have to come see him again. How are you??! I hope the nights are not too restless. Please let me know if I can do anything. I would love to help out.

Congrats Celeste! What a BIG baby! I thought that 8 lb 1 oz was bad. WOW! I hope that you guys are adjusting to 2 and that you are getting plenty of help with meals, cleaning and babysitting so that you can rest. He's adorable!
