Recent Happenings...

So, I know in almost every single one of my posts I always write about how "Spirited" Kaden is, in my Mom's persogenics class she has learned that Kaden is a very expressive child. We live in a 4 plex right now and our neighbors right underneath us moved in about 5 months ago. Well, the first week they were here they came up and knocked on the door and asked if we'd keep Kaden quiet. My first thought was "Yeah right", but we tried really hard. First off he's not really loud, once in awhile he likes to "hop" around, and when he does walk it's not a little feather like walk, but really that's the worst. So in the mean time they've come up 2 other times, they've banged on the ceiling, and it wasn't just a couple bangs, it was running all around the apartment banging on their ceiling just being very immature. During this time we are truly trying to keep Kaden quiet. Side note, this guy knew us before they moved in, he worked with Dan at Best Buy, so he knew that we had a 2 year old. So last Monday night I was pulling in from work, it was about 10, and the cops were pulling out. I go up to our apartment and Dan said "did you see the cops", I said "Yes", and he said "yeah, they're here because the neighbors called them on us." My jaw dropped and I said "why?" Dan told me the story and they came because the neighbors told the cops that it sounded like we were having a party up here. All Kaden was doing was playing on the computer and every time he got stuck he came and got Dan to help, so he was getting on and off the chair. When Dan answered the door he was holding Lincoln and they told him why they were here than they saw Kaden come running out of the room and the cop laughed and said, "Good luck with that." They pretty much told Dan that they're sorry for coming, but they have to respond to all calls. Than they left just shaking their heads. Dan and I were both in shock that they would call the cops on a two year old, we couldn't believe it. Dan was pretty upset and was about ready to go down there and have a word with them, but he didn't want it to turn into a fight so he went running instead. I called my mom in disbelief and she couldn't believe it. She told me that I should now just let Kaden do what ever he wants to do now and to not try and keep him quiet. That made me laugh that my mom would say that. The good news is we're trying to move right now, so hopefully in the next couple of months we'll be out of here. But here is the story of our recent happenings, kind of crazy, isn't it.
